I wanted it to feel a little more universal, hence choosing grammar over gender. I’m hoping to start a movement in which words like him, himself, and his before gender neutral again to save us all the awkward his/her deal.

I read your writings both here and on your other site with a sence of sadness. I have been there also; however, for much shorter times, and much less involved; but, the people are so welcoming and genuinely warm that it saddens me to be here in Canada. For me the Phils truly are Paridise on earth. Although people here are warm, it is a gaurded warmth. Not so there. I miss life there. You have such an expressive way of expressing yourself, and drawing word images. You are gifted in many ways. God bless. Hopefully we’ll both return.

Greetings from Eastern Canada (wishing it were Koronadal). Nothing written for April???? I was anxiously awaiting your next posting; have you started a newer blog?
